YOU GO GIRL!!!! I loved Girl Talk!!! It was my first time and I will definitely be back for more. I decided to treat my girlfriend for her birthday. She so enjoyed it, and I know we will both be in attendance for "Lock In". I can't say enough about what God has given you to do and the simplistic way He has anointed you to bring forth his truth with humor. Stick with it, don't back up and don't compromise. I have been to the Warner Theatre and other places to see a number of over-priced, gospel and inspritational plays by some very well known folks. They hired the best singers, very familiar actors and actresses to help make their plays hits. Some were ok, but most left me and my pockets empty. Very often I left these productions wondering what was the message?? Did I really need to pay over $70, sit for two hours to see something on a stage that I've already experienced firsthand, but without all the over the top singing??? Such was not the case with "Girl-Talk". It was a REAL production that dealt with very REAL issues, with REAL scriptural solutions. There was REAL ministry going on during the play. For a minute I forgot they were still in charachter, because they were speaking TRUTH!!! I mean Biblically Sound, UNADULTERATED TRUTH!!
What an awesome gift He's blessed you with. Keep going knowing that His favor and blessings go out before you. Can't wait until Dec 6th!!! |
